Description: http://busa.co.uk/download_file/view/4175The Midlands Mixer will be hosted at Burton Sailing Club by Loughborough University Sailing Club in collaboration with the BUSA Midlands Area on the 20th/21st October 2018.
This year, for the first time, the Midlands will be holding its very own coached event to kick the year off.
The Saturday will be a day of top quality race training by two coaches to be announced nearer the time (clue: both BUSA Finalists), followed by a one dayer team racing event on the Sunday.
The event is aimed specifically towards freshers coming from a fleet racing background learning the ropes of team racing.
The price per team for the full weekend will be £250. Sunday’s one dayer can be purchased for £150 providing a rare opportunity to benefit from both coaching and umpiring in a relaxed atmosphere before the season begins in earnest.
Accommodation will be provided for both Friday and Saturday.
A social will, of course, take place on both days also. More details of food and social tickets to follow.
Saturday coached session team limit: 8 teams.
Sunday coached one dayer team limit: 12 teams.
Spaces for both days will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
